FINNISH SAUNA
A sauna is a traditional hot air bath (the word comes from Finnish and means exactly that – “bath”). It is comparable to the Russian bath, although similar baths are widespread in other northern regions as well. The one thing they all have in common is the “steaming” – intense body heat that causes excessive sweating – and it is a crucial component of the treatment. Along with being hygienic, this kind of bath also has a therapeutic purpose.
Use – Since the sauna is a place for relaxation and health improvement, it is up to you how you will use it – how frequently, for how long, at what temperature and humidity. However, there are some general guidelines that must be followed to ensure the benefits of the sauna – and to keep you safe. Aromatherapy and a selected acoustic background can supplement and improve the sauna’s calming and health-promoting effects. Aromas help to maintain the body’s vital energy and tone while also altering blood circulation and soothing the senses.
INFRARED SAUNA
Infrared saunas are typically used for rest, relaxation, and isolation, but sometimes also for gathering and chatting. Above all, it is a source of health: it cleanses the body of toxins (through sweating), enhances blood and immune system function, and relaxes muscles.
STEAM BATH
The steam bath is beneficial to the nervous system, stimulates the respiratory system, and improves lung capacity. As a result, the increased fluid removal from the body stimulates the detoxification process and improves kidney function.
Stress is reduced, the body calms down and the nervous system is brought into recovery mode.
CONTRAST SHOWER
Contrast showers are part of the SPA center’s cold procedures. They are recommended for boosting immunity and blood circulation, as well in cases of exhaustion and stress. Тhe bucket shower, also known as shock or ice water, is recommended after thermal procedures.
